This Privacy Policy describes how Cheerbit ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use the Cheerbit iOS application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
The following data is created by you and stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never transmitted to us or any third party:

We do not collect:
Cheerbit requests access to your microphone solely to record voice affirmations in Custom Studio. Recordings are stored as local audio files on your device and are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted externally. You may revoke this permission at any time in your iOS Settings.
When you record a voice affirmation, Cheerbit uses Apple's Speech Recognition framework to generate a text transcription of your recording. Cheerbit only performs this transcription when on-device speech recognition is available. If on-device speech recognition is unavailable for the user's device or locale, the recording is saved without a transcript. We do not receive, store, or access any audio or transcription data on our servers.
You may revoke speech recognition access at any time in your iOS Settings.
Cheerbit may request permission to send you local notifications as daily reminders. These are scheduled entirely on-device based on the times and days you configure. No push notification service is used, and no data leaves your device in connection with notifications. You may revoke notification permission at any time in your iOS Settings.
Cheerbit offers optional premium features through in-app purchases managed entirely by Apple:
All billing, payment processing, and subscription management is handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not have access to your payment method, billing details, or financial information. Apple may collect and process data related to your purchase in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
Cheerbit includes a home screen widget. Data displayed in the widget (your current affirmation and theme) is shared between the App and the widget extension using an App Group, which is a local, on-device data-sharing mechanism provided by Apple. No widget data is transmitted externally.
Cheerbit does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. The App uses only Apple's native frameworks.
The only third-party data processing that may occur is Apple's Speech Recognition framework (see Section 2.2) and Apple's App Store and StoreKit infrastructure for in-app purchases (see Section 3). Both are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. Because Cheerbit does not collect or store personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly through your device:
We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. Cheerbit does not engage in "cross-context behavioral advertising." California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected — and in our case, none is collected by us.
We do not process any personal data within the meaning of the GDPR, as no personal data is transmitted to or stored by us. If you have questions, you may contact us at the address below.
You may delete all app data at any time by removing the App from your device. You may revoke any permission (microphone, speech recognition, notifications) at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Cheerbit is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address it. As described above, we do not collect personal information from any users.
Because Cheerbit does not transmit or store user data on external servers, there is no risk of a server-side data breach affecting your information. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms, including device encryption and app sandboxing.
Cheerbit is operated from Mexico. By using the App, you acknowledge that any data processing described in this policy (solely by Apple's frameworks on your device) may occur according to Apple's policies. We do not transfer any data internationally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
